Order Filled

A stunning large kitchen to entertain family and friends was on the top of the client’s wish list. Soft white cabinets with a warm glaze offer a calming atmosphere, while the use of furniture elements, such as turned posts, valance toe boards, heavy base board and corbels, along with a cherry island gave the kitchen a traditional feel.

The open floor plan easily accommodated two islands – allowing adequate room for guests to serve beverages, help prep or simply visit comfortably at the furthest island, while others could attend to serious cooking activities along the main back wall without congestion.  The use of all Viking stainless steel cooking and refrigeration appliances gives a stage presence that this client is serious about cooking and entertaining.   With double microwaves, ovens and warming drawers they are assured to fill any order, in a timely fashion – and hot!

Interior accessories were not overlooked.  An abundance of pull out spice racks, double trash bins, tray storage, cutlery dividers and pull out pantry system gives the client all the right tools to keep a well organized kitchen.

Details were kept simple to avoid a cluttered look in this large kitchen.  Emphasis was placed on the symmetrical balance of all the elements in the design, including the heavy beams on the ceiling, stainless steel appliances and dual islands. The iron pot rack gave the strongest focal and offered a staple to the center balance of the room.  In the end the clients’ order was filled - being presented with a warm and engaging space that caters to their every need and want!
