With a variety of opportunities in the Kitchen and Bath Industry, it's important for students to invest in college programs that set high standards and provide industry training essential to achieving success in this industry. There are many benefits of NKBA Accredited Programs to schools, students and professors. NKBA Accredited Programs provide a well rounded education with topics such as residential construction, business and project management, and basic to advanced kitchen and bath design concepts.

Currently, we have two schools participating in the NKBA Accredited/Supported Program. The University of Georgia at Athens offers a Bachelor of Science degree within the Family & Consumer Sciences department that has met the rigorous requirements to become an NKBA Accredited Program. The NKBA offers a stepping-stone approach to Accreditation through the NKBA Supported Program, which means the school has implemented coursework, based on NKBA reference materials and is working towards obtaining the full NKBA Accreditation. Gwinnett Technical College in Lawrenceville GA has a 2 year Kitchen & Bath Designer Certificate which has met the requirements for an NKBA Supported Program. These programs provide the foundation for students to be successful in the kitchen and bath industry. Kitchen and Bath businesses easily recognize the benefits and immediate contributions these students bring to their business.
